I am a Chicago-based educator, artist, and anthropologist. I teach courses through the lens of human rights, restorative justice, and community building. I began art therapy years ago to process my thoughts and to heal. I want to practice what I teach and utilize the same methods of self-care and growth-orientated practices that I encourage in others. I focus on the materials, process, and health outcomes more than themes. Most of the materials I use are found, recycled, and repurposed. My work is not for sale, but I occasionally take commissions.
